EXPECTATIONS OF IEC'S WHO DO GAP YEAR COUNSELING:
We do list IECs who do gap year counseling on our Gap Year Counselors web page, however, to be listed there you must:
- Have a web page that talks about your gap year counseling. If it's important enough to be listed on the GYA website, then it's important enough to have information on your own website.
- Agree to not accept commissions for any gap year placements. We want to ensure students have the best experience and are paired with the best-fitting program to accomplish their goals.
- Fill out a form (after dues are paid the next web page should show a form template), or, email all relevant information to us so that we can post and include you on the Gap Year Counselors GYA web page.
FEES:
$100/year. Your voice is one of the most impactful in terms of lifting the eyes of people who haven't considered a gap year, and so we want to support your stories and voice getting out there for the good of the movement.
